Ten years with Solomon and a family visit.

Cute factor x10. Years with me x10. Ten years ago on May 11th I met this gentle and feisty three legged cat at the RSPCA. Ten years ago yesterday he came to live in my house. The adorable Solomon.

He came with a huge personality which has grown over the years. Due to his missing leg and a moderately busy road outside our house, Solly is a house cat, which he has settled to very well. The missing leg? A mystery, other than he was found injured on a road in the April of 2001. His age? Another mystery. He is an estimated thirteen years old. He could be a year or so younger or older. Little tale tale white hairs have appeared in his fur over the past year, so I guess he is no spring chicken any more.

On Monday Solomon is to renew an old friendship with my brother and will make the acquaintance of my mum for the very first time. I can't even begin to say how excited I am about this visit - there are no words great enough. My mum and bro will be here for a few days and for the first time ever I can show Lizzy my world. My joy is huge.
