Introducing Finnigan (named by my mum). Last week Unkin's little fishy pal (Shub) died and had to have an appropriate fish funeral ("bye bye" flush gurgle gurgle). Unkin was looking a bit lonely yesterday so I went to get him a friend.
From the top...Unkin & Finnigan. As you've probably guessed, Unkin is a Shubunkin. Finnigan is a Sarasa Comet. In time his tail will grow long and flowing.
It's hard to tell from the photos but Finnigan is chunkier and a tiny bit longer than Unkin. Unkin has a gold sheen to his overall colour.
Remembering Shub. This was taken when I bought him...October 2008.
Shub the beautiful little fish, taken last October. I've had many fish over the past twenty years but this one was rather special.
